Buy only from the organizer's sale page
A real ticket comes from the place the organizer sells it: the event page on Quicket, or the link the organizer shares on its own pages. Anything else is a person reselling, and you cannot see what they actually hold.
- Open the event page on quicket.me or in the Quicket app, or follow the link from the organizer's own Facebook page or website.
- Do not buy from Facebook posts, WhatsApp or Messenger groups, or people outside the venue, however good the price looks.
- Pay only through Quicket's checkout. Never send money to a personal bKash number or bank account for a ticket.
How a genuine Quicket ticket works
Knowing how the ticket works makes it easier to spot one that does not add up.
- Each ticket has its own QR code. No two tickets share one.
- The organizer's staff scan the QR code at the gate. A code lets one person in once: scanned again, it shows as already used.
- Your ticket lives in your Quicket account and app, and arrives by email with a PDF copy. It is issued in the name and email used at booking.
- This is why a screenshot is risky to buy: the same image can be sold to several people, and only the first one scanned gets in.
Check a pass before you rely on it
The verify page checks a Quicket pass using its pass ID and the email it was issued to. A genuine pass shows its holder, event, ticket category and seat. If the ID and email do not match a pass, it comes back as not verified. Checking only reads the pass: it never checks anyone in.

If someone offers you a ticket
Sometimes a friend really cannot go. Even then, handle it in a way you can check.
- Ask whether the organizer allows transfers. If it does, ask them to transfer the ticket to you on Quicket instead of sending a screenshot or PDF.
- If there is no transfer, ask for the pass ID and the email it was issued to, and check it on the verify page before you pay. A pass can still be used by anyone who has its QR code.
- Walk away from pressure to pay fast, prices far above the event page, or requests to pay a personal number.
- If the event page says sold out, wait for the organizer's announcements. Organizers sometimes release more tickets on the same page.
The safe way to pass a ticket on: transfer
When the organizer allows it, a Quicket ticket can be transferred to another person. They get a new pass and QR code in their own name by email, and the old QR code stops working the moment the transfer completes. The recipient does not need a Quicket account.
Questions about fake tickets
Where is it safe to buy event tickets?
On the organizer's own sale page: for events on Quicket, that is the event page on quicket.me or in the Quicket app, or a link the organizer shares. Pay through Quicket's checkout, never to a personal account.
Is a ticket from a Facebook or WhatsApp seller real?
You cannot tell from a picture. Even a real ticket can be sold to several buyers as a screenshot, and only the first scan gets in. Ask for a transfer on Quicket, or check the pass ID and email on the verify page before you pay.
How do I check if a Quicket ticket is genuine?
Enter the pass ID and the email it was issued to on the verify page. A genuine pass shows its holder, event, category and seat. If nothing matches, treat the ticket as unconfirmed and contact the organizer.
Can two people enter with the same QR code?
No. Each QR code admits one entry. Once it is scanned at the gate, any later scan of the same code shows as already used.
I bought a ticket and someone else already used it. What can I do?
If you bought it on Quicket in your own name, contact the organizer at the gate and our support with your order details. If you bought it from a reseller, contact the seller and report it to the platform where you found them. Quicket can only help with orders placed through Quicket.
Can I give my ticket to a friend safely?
Yes, if the organizer allows transfers. Use the transfer page: your friend gets a new pass in their own name and your old QR code stops working, so nobody can use a copy of it.
