The Writing Room - October Session 2026

About

The Writing Room is an evening of poetry writing and reading. It is a small, intimate poetry session for those who want to write and read poetry. Participants will be given writing prompts and invited to create poems on the spot. At the end, everyone sits together in a circle and each participant reads one of their newly written poems. No prepared poems are needed—just prompts, blank pages, and your imagination. The session takes place on Saturday, 24 October 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with gates opening at 4:45 PM. The session is limited to 15 participants. The listing identifies the venue as Purple Poetry Dhaka in Gulshan 2, but the actual venue and location will be shared only with registered persons.
