BUP MediaComm Summit 2.0 is a national-level media and communication event hosted at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in Dhaka, bringing together aspiring journalists, storytellers, media enthusiasts, and problem-solvers from across Bangladesh. The summit's theme is "Communicating Tomorrow: The Future of Media & Journalism". It runs from September 22–23, 2026. Tickets are available at a flat price of BDT 99. News Olympiad - Solo competition. - Undergraduate students only. - Tests current affairs, news sense, and media knowledge. - A mini book with the syllabus will be provided. - Single round, on-campus. - Date: September 22, 2026. News Reporting Competition - Team-based competition; up to 3 people per team, undergraduates only. - Cross-university teams are allowed. - Round 1: online, September 16–20, 2026. - Round 2: on-campus, September 22, 2026. Seminar - Date: September 23, 2026. - Followed by the results of both segments and the closing ceremony. - The seminar will explore where the media is headed, how stories shape our world, and what the future holds for journalism and communication.
