DAWC Women in Art – A Silent Auction & Reception

You are invited to Women in Art – A Silent Art Auction & Reception, hosted by the Dhaka American Women's Club (DAWC) on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Crystal Palace Hall at Gulshan Club. This is the DAWC's marquee fundraising event of the year, and all proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations supporting women and children's programs in Bangladesh. The art auction will feature works by celebrated and emerging women artists in Bangladesh including: Aida Cader, Aparazita Rahman, Asma Akber, Azizee Fawmi Khan, Farhana Afroz Bappy, Farzana Islam Milky, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Kuhu, Mukti Bhowmick, Maksuda Iqbal Nipa, Nur Munjerin Rimjhim, Nusrat Jahan Nazlee, Omi Islam, Rehana Yesmin, Rebeka Sultana Moly, Rokeya Sultana, Ruposhree Hajong, Shahreen Hussain, Shakirun Nahar Kanon, Sharmin Akhter Lina, Saria Saguaro, Farhana Afroz Bappy, and Vinita Karim. The donation of Tk 2,000 includes light refreshments. About DAWC: The Dhaka American Women's Club (DAWC) is committed to furthering fellowship among Americans and Bangladeshis in Dhaka. We host curated cultural events throughout the year. Our goal is provide a touch of community for Americans, and to raise funds for organizations dedicated to the empowerment of women and children in Bangladesh.
