DAWC Women in Art – A Silent Auction & Reception

You are invited to Women in Art – A Silent Art Auction & Reception, hosted by the Dhaka American Women's Club (DAWC) on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Crystal Palace Hall at Gulshan Club.

This is the DAWC's marquee fundraising event of the year, and all proceeds will be donated to non-profit organizations supporting women and children's programs in Bangladesh.

The art auction will feature works by celebrated and emerging women artists in Bangladesh including: Afroza Akhtary, Aida Cader, Alia Kamal, Aparazita Rahman, Asma Akber, Azizee Fawmi Khan, Fareen Ahmed, Farhana Afroz Bappy, Faria Hossain Tuly, Farzana Islam Milky, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Gulshan Hossain, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Kuhu, Maksuda Iqbal Nipa, Mst. Shaila Akhter, Mukti Bhowmick, Nur Munjerin Rimjhim, Nusrat Jahan Nazlee, Omi Islam, Preema Nazia Anadaleeb, Priyan iqbal, Rebeka Noman Neela, Rebeka Sultana Moly, Rehana Yesmin, Rokeya Sultana, Rubina Akhter, Ruposhree Hajong, Samia Rashid Hai, Saria Saguaro, Shahreen Hussain, Shakirun Nahar Kanon, Sharmin Akter Lina, Suborna Morsheada, Vinita Karim.

Our special guest speakers are Nusrat Mahmud, co-founder of Brihatta Art Foundation, and Tayeba Begum Lipi, artist and co-founder of Britto Arts Trust.

The donation of Tk 2,000 includes light refreshments.
