What is Event Whitelisting?
Event Whitelisting is a feature that allows organizers to pre-screen and approve attendees before they can purchase tickets. This ensures that only qualified or invited individuals can access the event, creating a more tailored and exclusive experience.
Here is how the magic happens for both users and organizers:
For Users
If you are interested in an event that leverages whitelisting, here is how it works:
Requesting Access:
On the event details page, you will find a form titled Request Access.
Simply fill out the required fields, submit your request, and wait for the organizer’s review.
Approval Process:
Once your request is submitted, the organizer will review it as part of their vetting process.
During this time, your request status will show as Pending Approval.
Confirmation & Next Steps:
If your request is approved, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to purchase your ticket.
Approved users can then access the ticketing system and complete their purchase.
If your request is denied, you will also be notified, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
For Organizers
Organizers, this feature is designed to give you unparalleled control over your audience. Here is how it works on your end:
Managing Requests:
Inside your event dashboard, a new tab called Awaiting Guests is now available under the Attendees section.
This tab displays all user requests for access, complete with their submitted details.
Evaluating & Responding:
Review each request and decide whether to Accept or Reject based on your event’s criteria.
You can quickly manage requests with intuitive tools built directly into the dashboard.
Automated Notifications:
Approved attendees will automatically receive an email guiding them to the ticket purchase process.
Rejected attendees will also be notified, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
Customizable Forms:
While the default form captures essential information, adding or modifying fields requires the assistance of the Quicket team. If you have specific requirements, simply reach out to our support team, and we will help tailor the form to your needs.
