Velvet Evenings is a curated live poetry & storytelling experience by Anowar Stories—designed as a warm, cinematic gathering where words are heard with intention, and silence becomes part of the performance.

In this third edition, Mohammad Anowar Hossain and Shohana Shova will present a carefully curated selection of romantic, atmospheric, and emotionally immersive poems. Rather than live background music, the evening embraces the natural rhythm of spoken words, with occasional delicate acoustic guitar textures woven into the performance to deepen the mood without distracting from the poetry.

Expect soft lights, quiet pauses, lingering words, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and a room filled with genuine human presence.
