About the Championship

Welcome to the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Bangladesh Championship 2025, a prestigious competition that tests and celebrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Eligibility

Must be a Bangladeshi citizen (verified by NID, birth certificate, or passport)
Age: 13-22 years old as of June 15, 2025
Must be actively enrolled in an Educational Institute during 2024-2025 academic year

Microsoft Excel 2019
Microsoft PowerPoint 2019

Competition Structure

Campus Round (First Round)

In-person attendance at registered campus
50-minute exam in English
Top 300 participants per category advance nationwide

National Round (Second Round)

Conducted at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB)
Uses Microsoft Certified Exam-Simulation software
Top 3 performers from each category advance to Finals

Final Round

Project-based practical task
Winners represent Bangladesh at World Championship

Prizes

Final Round Winners (Per Category):

1st Place: Trophy, Laptop, Certificate, Medal, and fully sponsored trip to USA World Championship
2nd Place: 35,000 BDT, Medals, certificates, and prizes
3rd Place: 25,000 BDT, Medals, certificates, and prizes

Rules & Regulations

1. Registration & Fees

Registration fee: 300 taka (subsidized under vTutor's scholarship program)
Multiple category participation allowed
Registration is non-refundable
No category changes after confirmation

2. Fair Play & Conduct

Cheating, plagiarism, or use of unauthorized tools will result in immediate disqualification
Prohibited items: mobile phones, browsers, external help, smart watches, and any means providing unfair advantage
Mandatory attendance for all competition rounds

3. Technical Requirements

Access to Microsoft Office 2019 required for training
Basic English proficiency needed
Organizers not responsible for technical issues during competition

4. Legal Information

Governed by Bangladeshi law
Disputes settled in Dhaka courts
Complies with Bangladesh's Digital Security Act 2018
Participants grant non-exclusive rights for promotional use
