Arka বৈশাখ ১৪৩৩ is a two-day cultural mela bringing together music, food, art, and community in one vibrant space. Rooted in the traditions of পহেলা বৈশাখ and infused with contemporary creative energy, the event transforms Aloki into a festive gathering where culture, performance, and local creativity come alive.
The celebration unfolds across multiple curated zones designed to reflect different parts of the Boishakh experience:
কালেক্টিভ মঞ্চ (Collective Moncho)
The main stage for live performances throughout the event, featuring music, dance, classical performances and cultural showcases.
খেলাঘর (Khela Ghor)
An interactive space inspired by the playful spirit of traditional fairs, featuring activities and experiences for visitors to enjoy.
মেলা (Marketplace)
A curated bazaar featuring local brands, designers, artists, and artisans from across Bangladesh, offering clothing, crafts, accessories, and creative products.
ভোজনালয় (Food Zone)
A vibrant food area serving বৈশাখী favourites and a diverse range of cuisines from selected restaurants and food vendors.
Day 1 — 13 April
An energetic opening to Arka বৈশাখ ১৪৩৩. The day begins with a traditional Dhak-Dhol performance, followed by a series of Collective Live performances featuring emerging voices. As the evening builds, expect Baul music, classical dance, and live performances by Karnival, Shibu, and Firoze Jong. A special ceremony takes place later in the evening, followed by DJ performances that carry the night to a high-energy close.
Day 2 — 14 April
A full-day celebration starting in the late morning, blending tradition with contemporary sound. The day opens with Rabindra Sangeet, followed by Baul music, Indigenous and classical dance performances, and multiple Collective Live sets. As evening falls, the festival shifts into a more immersive atmosphere with DJ acts and live performances, closing the two-day experience on a high note.

All concerts and performances are included with a general entry ticket.
Entry & Conduct:
Each ticket grants entry to one person only and must be presented upon entry.
There are no scenarios or situations where the ticket may be refunded
Re-entry is strictly prohibited after exiting the venue.
The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any individual from the event at their discretion, including for reasons not limited to security risks or behavioral issues.
Attendees are required to conduct themselves respectfully and avoid any behavior that could disturb the event or other participants.
No disrespectful, offensive, or hate-inciting clothing or messages are allowed. Attendees wearing such may be denied entry or removed from the venue.
Prohibited Items:
The following items are not permitted at the venue: outside food and beverages, alcohol, drugs, toxins, weapons, and other harmful or disruptive items.
Bags larger than 10x6 inches are not allowed inside the venue. All bags are subject to search.
Electrical equipment such as speakers, power banks, and chargers are also prohibited.
Security & Liability:
Security personnel may conduct searches on attendees at any point to ensure safety and compliance with event rules.
The venue is monitored by CCTV and video recording may occur by a film team. Attendance at the event constitutes consent to be filmed.
The organizers or venue are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property of attendees.
