Velvet Evenings: ANOWAR x SAMIA

An intimate evening of poetry, ambient music, coffee, and conversation.

Velvet Evenings is a new live poetry experience by Anowar Stories designed as a warm, cinematic, listening-focused gathering inside a cozy café space in Banani.

On this second edition, poets Mohammad Anowar Hossain and Samia Nasrin will perform a curated selection of romantic, atmospheric, and emotionally immersive poems, accompanied by live ambient keyboard music.

Expect soft lights, quiet pauses, lingering words, coffee aroma, and a room full of human presence.
